SMSA Junior Team Race Sailing

Chatham Yacht Club has a proud tradition of sending our sailors to regional regattas under the guidance of our experienced coaches. Our two race teams compete in both the C420 and Optimist classes, in addition to participating in Sailing School races and the CYC Racing Series. These CYC events offer junior sailors the unique opportunity to race alongside and against sailors of all ages within the our community.  Sailors on the C420 Racing Team also compete in team racing events against other Cape Cod yacht clubs and Southern Massachusetts Sailing Association (SMSA) teams. Select sailors may be chosen to represent CYC in additional SMSA and United States Sailing Association (USSA) competitions.   CYC also offers a dynamic recreational sailing program. Recreational sailors are encouraged to take part in the weekly Sailing School Race Series, the CYC Series races, and our annual regatta.
